thatshotandhuge: Paris Hilton has had an EPIC summer season this year, and was one of the most talked about people. Whether it was her posting that infamous photograph of herself sitting on top of a “sea” of Louis Vuitton luggage, being mobbed by hundreds in Paris, or fun champagne fights, her every move was documented.  The World Cup 2010 was the mark of her summer vacation and she has definitely made a splash there, and was received with a warm welcome from the people of South Africa. One person in particular was over the moon with Paris Hilton’s visit to their country of South Africa, was Kayla Hunt. She is the self-proclaimed number one Paris Hilton fan, and actually spent the day with Paris Hilton.  This blog has an exclusive interview with Kayla Hunt herself. We couldn’t be even happier that she agreed to do this story with us. She has been a fan of Paris Hilton since the age of seven years old. She first was introduced to this heiress, as a model who was featured in many magazines, this intrigued this Paris Hilton fan to watch the first season of The Simple Life, and completely fell in love with the energy she brought to the show.  Kayla Hunt spent more time researching facts about Paris Hilton and realized that she was a successful business woman, and built her one-woman empire from the ground, up. “She is a huge inspiration to me because she is such a strong-willed woman, and when she puts her mind to something, she does it”, Kayla Hunt says proudly. About two years ago, Kayla made a Paris Hilton fan page on Facebook and managed to find Paris Hilton’s official Facebook account, and messaged her about the fan page, and the two of them began to chat on Facebook, and that turned into an E-Mail correspondence. This was the beginning of everything.  They have been talking about a face-to-face meeting for such a long time, and Kayla was so pleased that Paris Hilton arranged for them, along with Kayla’s sister, to meet when she went to watch The World Cup in South Africa. “…It goes to show how down-to-Earth she really is and what a caring, kind, and friendly person she is”, declared Kayla Hunt. She also said, this was her dream come true, and it took some time to realize this was all happening. Paris Hilton introduced her to all of her friends as her “number one fan”, and Kayla Hunt even showed Paris Hilton scrapbooks she made of her over the years. She was overjoyed when Paris Hilton looked them over with such detail. “It was amazing to see her actually looking at the pictures saying ‘I remember this’, ’That was in Miami’, or ‘there’s Tinkerbell”, Kayla remembers. She’s happy that the heiress considers her a close friend, and the feeling is mutual. We obviously asked Kayla Hunt about how she felt about the entire “Marijuana” mishap that had happened. She feels as usual, that the media blew the whole thing out of proportion and twisted the whole story. Kayla Hunt knew she was innocent for a fact, because she was with her that day, and it was another girl in the group who was doing the marijuana. . “Since Paris is a celebrity, they tried to pin the whole thing on her, and I feel bad for Paris because the media is constantly blaming her for things that she didn’t do”, Kayla adds as she defends Paris Hilton. Paris Hilton obviously took the time to experience the fun of South Africa and went on a Safari to see beautiful African wildlife. A tourist also can see Robin’s Island, where her country’s former president, Nelson Mandela was held prisoner, and theme parks such as Gold Reef City and Ratanga Junction. Kayla Hunt tells us that if you are in fact an indoor person, there are amazing stores to shop at, as well as museums. Since Paris Hilton has left South Africa and The World Cup has ended, she has been busy with school and enjoys spending time with family and her friends.  In the future Kayla Hunt wants to be successful as Paris Hilton and maybe have a job working for her brand, because she feels as if Paris Hilton’s products are “fabulous”.
